Spain and the WorldCup
Is Futbol (No football), Is the WorldCup and Is Spain. All the activities are related/connected with the worldCup. Even if you want to go shoping you find the futbol and the references to the Spanish team that is going quite well this edition, at least until today.

Another very curious thing in Canaletas is the animal kiosks, where you can buy animals but apart of the typical duck, hamster, birds, turtles you can buy a lot of type of animals. Like the skatojiraki in the photo. The prices are very strange because for example a turtle cost 70 or 80 Euros but the bunnies only 10, less than in the supermarket!!!!

What is the Statut???? Is something very strange that the catalans have.
The Statut is a set of laws that give more rights and responsibilities to the autonomic government from the national one. But what is the funniest thing??? The politicians in the government says Yes to the Statut and the nationalist ones says No!!!! Anyway the Ramblas is full of people and publicity saying Yes, No or I don’t know yet(like the photo) to the Statut.

Madrid 2006 triathlon world cup
This saturday I take part in the relays in one of the events around the 2006 triathlon world cup in Madrid. I made the first relay swiming, Eric the biking and Eduardo finish running.
Here is where i swing in the "casa de campo" lake. Is not very clean but the view of Madrid from there is very nice.
This is me just before start swiming and just after finish.
Finally we finsh quite god, around the 13th and we make a good time even the temperature is very high.
The light in Madrid
Yes finally i went to Madrid this weekend the best thing the light of the sun in Madrid, blue sky and none clouds at all. This is the cristal palace in the Retiro park in Madrid. Here is one of the place where i use to run where i was living there
Around where i work
In BCN i work inside a mall. Yes the office are inside a mall, so is very dangerous get the monthly pay and go shopping. The mall is call Glories and is in the "Avinguda Diagonal". This area before is very bad but now the people (around the Atos office of course ;) ) build a lot of hotels, and nice buildings. The only bad thing is that they make the night lights with the BarÇa uniform.
But beside this modern buildings, nice hotels, etc....you still could find the old gipsy market with some special offers. ;)
Canaletas's people (I)
Well we are going to start with the people sitting in the chairs....the BCN major has the great idea to put chairs (not the typical public benchs) in the street. Here the people left the grandparents when they take the metro and after the work they picked up again.
Some of them have ideas and try to get some extra money for some little vicious.....
Weekend in Madrid
Yes, is friday i am going to Madrid for a 3 days weekend. ;) I am going to take part in a triathlon relay saturday. In fact i have a very full schedule because since i am living outside when i came back i need to visit the family, make delas with the bank and the public administration and take part in crazy races ;)
So this weekend i will miss the people of "Rambla de Canaletas". In the next entries in the blog i will try to explain some of the people that are there.

Hi all. First WHERE I AM?????
In Barcelona....Yes i was living for one moth here and still i will stay here for one moth, later on.....
So i have my house in one apartment-hotel in the center of Barcelona (Rambla de canaletas). The area is one of the areas with more life in BCN, a lot of people doing living statues, selling beer packs, animal's kiosks or only showing the people.
So the are is very good in 3 of the 5 senses.........becuse the noise (all the Fcking night) and the smell (anybody that had stay in BCN knows) is quite bad.
